How to Apply -- Not a member of Elysian? Want to be?

IMPORTANT INFORMATION (ZOMG, CAPS!)

Elysian uses a roster rotation for our 10-person raids; the roster is created by guild leadership and posted each week to the Gruul's Lair forum by Monday evening. It is your responsibility to check the roster each week to see if you are scheduled to raid. Before you apply, you must understand and agree to this, and commit to posting in the relevant "Missing" thread if you are scheduled to go but cannot attend.

Note that raid 'spots' are not 'saved' -- if you miss too many raids that you are scheduled to attend, Elysian leadership reserves the right to remove you from the raid roster and designate you as a 'perma-backup'.

By submitting an application for membership, you agree to read, understand, and follow all Guild Rules.

Members new to the guild remain at Squire rank until they demonstrate 2-3 weeks of reliable service to the guild (e.g., attending raids when scheduled, being available as backups when not scheduled, helping other members, etc.). Further, new members should consider themselves "on probation" for this time period; if their performance or attitude is deemed unacceptable by Guild Leadership, they will be asked to leave the guild or may be removed outright at any time during their probation. This decision is final; there are no "do-overs" or second chances allowed.

• Register on our forums with your username being your toon's name followed by "_app". E.g.: John_app
  It is extremely important that you follow this rule. Forum accounts without the _app will be deleted as spam accounts. If you've already registered an account that does not follow this rule, apologize profusely in your application for not reading instructions and we may forgive you. Note: If you desire a level of privacy and do not wish to publicly reveal your toon's actual name, you must provide an alternate means for us to contact and communicate with you in-game.
  
• Copy the Application Template below; please try to keep the format somewhat readable; being crit by a wall of text is not fun.
  
• Check the email you registered with to activate your account.
  
• Login and create a new topic in the Guild Membership Applications forum and paste the template into your post. (Note, the "Create a new topic" link above should automatically create a new topic for you.)
  
• Remember: Make your application post's subject as follows: Toon name -- lvl Class (MM/DD/YY) E.g.: John -- 80 Rogue (01/27/09)
  
• Fill out all sections of the template
  
• Click "Preview" to review your post; once you are satisfied with its appearance and the information you've provided, click "Submit". Note that we are a guild with mature members; correct spelling, grammar, capitalization, etc, go a long way towards impressing us.
  
• Feel free to check back every few days as our Officers and members review and respond to your application.
