Guild Membership Rank Rights and Responsibilities
(Updated December 23rd, 2008)
*See Guild Rules for specific information related to rank promotions.
All Ranks - General Responsibilities
- Be online by start time when scheduled for raids.
- Be online by start time to serve in a backup capacity when not scheduled.
- Assist members with quests, instance runs, rep grinds, creation of crafted items, etc.
- Be courteous to your guildmates in public or guild chat. Don't drag your drama into our chat channels.
- Regardless of rank (excluding ALT ranks), be available as a backup for raids. Members who serve in a perma-backup capacity and do their best to regularly attend or be available for raids on an as-needed basis may continue to hold their tenure-based rank. When members withdraw from active raiding they may be demoted to Rank 8 (Serf) subject to GM discretion.
- If you are going to be unavailable for an extended period of time, or cannot make a raid you are scheduled for, you must post in the corresponding "Missing :: Raid Date" thread on our forums, or create a post with the expected date range of the time you'll be unavailable.
- If you are unhappy with Elysian or wish to leave for any reason, you must adhere to Guild Rule #8.

- Will be removed from guild if the main character leaves or is forcibly removed
- Can view guild bank
- Can deposit into the guild bank
- Can not withdraw from the guild bank
RANK 6 - Squire
- Generally, non-raiders or new members still on probation
- Non-raiders serve as backup when available
- Members new to the guild are expected to be online and available for raids (especially when scheduled to go according to that week's raid roster)
- Members new to the guild remain at this rank until they demonstrate 2-3 weeks of reliable service to the guild (e.g., attending raids when scheduled, being available as backups when not scheduled, helping other members, etc.). Further, new members should consider themselves "on probation" for this time period; if their performance is deemed unacceptable by Guild Leadership, they will be asked to leave the guild or may be removed outright at any time during their probation. This decision is final; there are no "do-overs" or second chances allowed.

- Can not withdraw from the guild bank
RANK 5 - Knight
